From HOBO to BOHO Photography with Joan

I'm kind of embarrassed to make this post. I've been happily using my black Domke camera bag for way more years than I'd like to admit. I started out a Tamrac girl and have flirted with cross body bags and Think Tank back packs but always went back to the Domke which just felt right.

In the last several years tho, I've seen a lot of cute, girly, camera bags pop up and I've just stuck with my Domke  - it's seen me through some hair raising situations and locations over the years. And it's been a badge of honor. I've changed cameras, lights, cars, hairstyles, relationships, even homes but for some reason I stuck with that old  black Domke bag. 

But today things changed. I was swayed by a pretty mint green camera bag by Johansen. It's big and slouchy and I found it the way we find most things these days - online. I wasn't even looking for one (how does Google know how old my Domke is?) Anyway, I was feeling daring. I highly doubt this will be my go to bag for the next 30 years but why on earth should it?

Thank you #domke for your years of service and to anyone who's noticed me looking a little ragged in the bag lately, all I can say is yikes. But check me out now, I've gone from hobo to boho!
